The city has spent over $3,000,000 to revitalize the historic downtown district in the past ten years. The city is looking to expand infrastructure in preparation for new housing developments in the works. The city is continuing the development of an industrial park that sits at the junction of HWY 101 and HWY 380.
  • Bridgeport, Texas is a young active community. Median age is 35 years old. Bridgeport has over 1000 acres in parks and recreational land for public use. Lake Bridgeport sits approximately 10 miles to the west and is a sprawling 12,000 acre lake open for public use.
